Half Moon Bay Christmas Tree Farms

Creekside Christmas Tree Farm  -- Choose and Cut

Open: Nov 30th and every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until sold out

Hours:  8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Directions: Located between the Woodside and La Honda, it's three (3) miles west of Skyline Blvd. on LA Honda Rd. (Hwy 84).

Varieties:  White Fir

Lemos Family Farm -- Pre-cut Trees

Explorer1.com Review - This family farm specializes in year round activities for children such as pony rides, tractor/train rides, petting zoo, etc.  Adults may find the seasonal decorations and crowds a little much, but children seem to love it!

Rancho Siempre Verde Christmas Tree Farm  -- Choose and Cut

Hours: Weekends 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Directions: From Half Moon Bay, travel 25 miles south on Highway 1 (five miles south of Pigeon Point Lighthouse).

Varieties: Douglas Fir, Monterey Pine,  Arizona Cypress, Sequoia, Incense Cedar.

Additional Features: rope swing, picnic area, tractor rides, marshmallows roasting, romp in the hay, and wreath making.

Santa's Tree Farm -- Choose and Cut

Open: Nov. 25 thru Dec. 24

Hours: Weekends 9 am to 5 pm, Weekdays 8 am to 5 pm.

Directions: From 280, travel west on Highway 92 to Pilarcitos Creek Rd.
From Highway 1, travel Highway 92 east to Pilarcitos Creek Rd.

Varieties: Monterey Pine, Noble Fir, Douglas Fir, Redwood, Grand Fir, White Fir

Additional Features: Village, candy canes, hot apple cider, and visits from Santa on weekends. Train rides are available on weekends.

Skyline Tree Farm  -- Choose and Cut

Open: Day after Thanksgiving

Hours: Weekdays 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, Weekends 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Directions: The farm is located on Skyline Blvd/Hwy 35, 1 mile south of Page Mill Rd., or 6 miles north of Highway 9.

The Johnson Farm -- Choose and Cut and Pre-cut

Varieties:  Choose and Cut = Douglas Fir, Scotch Pine.  Pre-Cut Trees = Noble Fir, Douglas Fir, Fraser Fir and Grand Fir.

Additional Features: Weekend hay rides - $2.00.

Four Winds Christmas Trees -- Choose and Cut

Hours: Weekdays: 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, Weekends: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Directions: Take Hwy 17 south to the Black Road/Bear Creek Road exit at Lexington Reservoir.  Left on Black road 1.9 mi to Gist.  Left on Gist 1.7 mi to Skyline, left on Skyline ¼ mile to Four Winds ranch on the right. 

Varieties: Mostly Douglas Fir but they also have some Grand Fir, Spruce,  and White Fir.

Gist Farm -- Choose & Cut

Hours: Weekdays: 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, Weekends: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Directions: Highway 17 South from Los Gatos, take the Bear Creek Road exit, GO STRAIGHT AT FIRST STOP SIGN. Take a left turn up Black Road. Go 2.1 miles up Black road, turn Left onto Gist Road. The Gist Farm is 7/10 of a mile on left.

Varieties: Douglas fir and White fir

Patchen California  -- Choose and Cut

Hours: Daily, dawn until 9:00 pm (UNDER THE LIGHTS),

Directions: From Highway 17, exit on Summit Road, cross over the overpass, then turn left on Summit Road for 50 feet, then left again on Mt. Charlie Road for 3/4 miles.

Varieties: Douglas Fir, Sierra Redwood, and Monterey Pine.

Summit Tree Farm -- Choose and Cut

Open:  Day after Thanksgiving until Christmas Eve.  Weekends from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and on weekdays 9:00 am to 4:30 pm

Directions: Take Highway 17 north to Summit Road, east, follow signs for
2.5 miles.  The Farm is on the right.

Hours: 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. weekends, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. weekdays

Varieties: Douglas Fir, Sierra Redwood, and Monterey Pine.
