‘Make a Difference Day’ Fall Beach Cleanup at Venice Beach

When: Saturday, October 22, 2011, 10am-12pm  

Who: Save Our Shores

What: Volunteer for the Half Moon Bay Earth Day Cleanup & Celebration with Save Our Shores

Where: Venice Beach and Creek. Check-in at the end of Venice Blvd.  

Why: Its Make a Difference Day in Half Moon Bay on October 22! Come lend a hand for pollution prevention at the Venice Beach and Creek cleanup on Saturday, October 22. Hosted by Save Our Shores, all cleanup materials will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves, water bottles, and reusable bags and/or buckets to help decrease trash. Participants show their support for a healthy ocean and clean beaches by joining Save Our Shores for Make a Difference Day.

Cost: 100% Free of Charge 

Volunteer for the Half Moon Bay Earth Day Cleanup

When: Saturday, April 23, 10am-12pm  

Who: Save Our Shores

What: Volunteer for the Half Moon Bay Earth Day Cleanup & Celebration with Save Our Shores

Where: Meet at Francis State Beach at 10am  

Why: Give back for Earth Day this year and lend a hand for the oceans at the Half Moon Bay Earth Day Cleanup hosted by Save Our Shores. Meet at Francis State Beach at 10am and stay for the celebration into the afternoon. This is a family-friendly event. All cleanup materials will be provided but bring your own reusable gloves, bags, and/or buckets to decrease one-time-use disposables. Your community and ocean will thank you for your kindness.

Cost: 100% Free of Charge 

Love Your Local Beach!  Join the Miramontes Point Beach Cleanup

When: Saturday, January 22nd, 10am-12pm 

Who: Save Our Shores

What: Volunteer for a monthly Half Moon Bay beach cleanup with Save Our Shores

Where: Check-in at the parking area near the beach and creek access path.  

Why: Love your local Half Moon Bay beach and lend a hand for the oceans at the January beach cleanup at Mirramontes Point Beach hosted by Save Our Shores. Winter rains flush thousands of pounds of trash and debris down through our watersheds and into the ocean, so winter beach and river cleanups are essential to ocean health. All cleanup materials will be provided but bring your own reusable gloves, bags, and/or buckets to decrease one-time-use disposables. Your community and ocean will thank you for your kindness.
