2011 Art & Pumpkin Festival in Half Moon Bay
October 15-16, 2011 – Half Moon Bay heralds in All Hallows Eve with rustic pumpkin patches, harvest-inspired arts and crafts, entertainment, contests, and activities. It all creates a wonderful atmosphere of fun, fun and more fun. Admission is free.
In the Pumpkin Capital of the world, the versatile pumpkin takes center stage during this fall tradition. Festival goers can partake in a number of devilish activities that are tons of fun and help to raise money to support community programs.
Festival goers will enjoy a wide variety of arts and crafts, top-notch entertainment, and holiday activities such as the bone chilling haunted house and harvest-inspired contests that range from pie eating to costume to pumpkin carving. You may want to wear your pants with the elastic waistband so you can enjoy all of the ghoulish treats!

If you plan ahead of time, you can avoid the heavy, stop and go traffic by booking a hotel room in Half Moon Bay. For a break from all the festival fun, plan to visit one of the coastal restaurants.
