Once the snow flies the fun continues at Camp Richardson with snowshoeing and cross country skiing at the Mountain Sports Center.  Recently voted “Best Place to Cross Country Ski” by Tahoe locals.  It offers groomed and marked trails for the beginner to the expert.

Heavenly offers 4k of cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in their fun-filled, family oriented Adventure Peak Snow Park.  $15 will get you two hours of cross country skiing.  But to get to the park, you'll have to pay another $15 to $24 for the Gondola ride.
